Putin signs order to raise number of deputy PMs to 11 from 10

MOSCOW, Jul 12 (PRIME) -- The number of deputy prime ministers in the Russian government will rise to 11 from 10, and the position of a deputy prime minister – industry and trade minister will be introduced, according to an order of President Vladimir Putin, released on the state portal for legal information on Tuesday.

The order comes into force from the date of signing.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has suggested Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov to the position, and the State Duma, parliament’s lower house, will consider the matter on Friday.
